All field trips will happen simultaneously on Wednesday afternoon, May 3. Interested? You can indicate your interest on the registration form. Transportation will be arranged based on number of attendees. You will be able to attend only one trip as all three trips will happen at the same time. Any associated fees and payments will be addressed on site the day of the field trip.
Alaska Weather, Water and Ice Center
Located at the NOAA NWS Operational offices in Anchorage 15 minutes from Dena’ina Center. Cost: Free. Space is limited and non-U.S. citizens need NOAA clearance.

A 3-mile walk/bike from downtown.Bike rentals available at corner of 5th & L Streets. View of earthquake (old house foundations, cracked earth) and coastal erosion effects and mitigation efforts on the paved trail and on dirt trails. Cost: Free.
